Tajinder Singh Dhillon launches his cricket academy in Agra
Cricketer Tajinder Singh Dhillon launched the Lt JS Dhillon Cricket Academy in Agra, the academy commenced operations at the beginning of September this year. On-ground renovations began in the month of April and after a hard toil of five months, the ground was up and running. Tajinder Singh Dhillon has featured for two teams in the Indian Premier League, he has been a part of the Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab in 2018 and 2020 respectively.
Through his academy, the Rajasthan cricketer wants to encourage and inspire more and more children to take up the sport. "I'd be glad if young players can learn from whatever experience I have, I think it is extremely important to start right, and we are working hard to ensure that the right kind of development happens at the Lt JS Dhillon Cricket Academy", said Tajinder Singh Dhillon when asked about the academy. He also spoke about the different facilities that will be available in the academy in due course of time.
"We believe in the best, we are working to ensure that players get best facilities, in the future we'll also provide physio and psychologists, we're focusing on aspects that are often not seen at the junior level", he further added. The academy is working in full-flow, the ground is also set to host a local tournament from October 10.
